<image:title>Emma Grey - Emma Grey</image:title>
<image:caption>Emma Grey is the author of seven books, including USA Today bestsellers The Last Love Note, Pictures of You and Start at the End. Pictures of You hit the bestseller list in its second week, has been optioned for TV, appeared in the New York Times book review and was named by People magazine as a “Best Books of November 2024”. Apple Books called it a “must read”, and the American Library Association’s Booklist gave it a starred review, calling it “superb”. It was selected by the major American book club, Book of the Month, along with The Last Love Note, which was also a monthly pick for the Target Book Club, nominated for Book of the Month’s “Book of the Year” award and named by the American Bookseller’s Association as one of their top 25 new releases. Start at the End attracted a multi-territory deal in Australia/New Zealand, the US/Canada and UK. Emma’s books have been featured in Oprah Daily, The Washington Post, the New York Times, New York Post, Elle magazine, People magazine, Who Weekly, Psychology Today, the Australian Women’s Weekly and more, and have attracted multiple translation deals. Her YA novels, Unrequited and Tilly Maguire and The Royal Wedding Mess were published by HarperCollins and, together with composer Sally Whitwell, Emma adapted these into stage musicals. With Audrey Thomas, Emma wrote a non-fiction title about productivity, I Don’t Have Time (Exisle) and her first book was a parenting memoir, Wit’s End Before Breakfast! Confessions of a Working Mum (Lothian). Emma is a keen photographer and speaker. She is a mum of three, who lives just outside Canberra and dreams of dividing her time between an apartment in New York, a cottage on Prince Edward Island and a retro caravan along Australia’s coastline.</image:caption>

<image:title>Rachel Fox McLeod - Rachel Fox McLeod</image:title>
<image:caption>Rachel Fox McLeod is an award-winning fiction writer, screenwriter and creative producer, whose projects often straddle page and screen. A former musician and entertainment writer for a national women’s magazine, Rachael is a recipient of the Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize and the GREW Prize as well as several Varuna fellowships. She’s taught screenwriting for world-renowned New York Film Academy and is the author of Dead Famous - A Kat Alley Mystery (Daring Press 2023). A voracious reader, who still checks the back of wardrobes for Narnia (just in case), Rachael grew up on film sets in London in the 80s—her family worked on Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman, Labyrinth, and more. She’s been fascinated by stories, and how to breathe them into life, for as long as she can remember. Her film & television credits include Wanted; Mako Mermaids; The Timeshifters, and The Bachelor—a job which meant scouring the streets for cute boys to match up with cute girls. A tough job, but somebody had to do it. Rachel has projects in development with several BAFTA and EMMY award-winning producers, and is in demand as a story consultant and script doctor. Her rom-com series, The Scoop, was Top 10 in the 2023 Page International Screenwriting Awards. Rachel is committed to writing powerful, hilarious, female-led stories. She’s allergic to the phrase 'strong female lead’—give her complex, flawed, and messy any day—and is passionate about authenticity and storytelling, taking her philosophy from Anais Nin— “We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.” She currently resides in a cute city apartment, with books and daydreams for company (mostly dreams of being a pop-star, climbing mountains, and marrying Sam Heughan). She loves hot yoga, tattoos, the F word, and cheese, but not in that order. Cheese always comes first.</image:caption>

In 2014, after birthing her first child, the former nurse started an irreverent food blog which quickly drew a cult following. In 2017, Shannon released her first cookbook, Shannon’s Kitchen: Healthy Food You’ll Actually F**king Eat, which topped bestseller lists and won multiple awards for its quirky and unique style. After publishing more ridiculous but joyful non-fiction, Shannon decided to change teams and is now writing fiction. She brings a fearless approach, a bold voice, and a deep love for the stories of women. Shannon’s debut novel, Billie King, is being published in July 2026 (HarperCollins Australia).</image:caption>

<image:caption>Sandie Docker grew up in Coffs Harbour, and first fell in love with reading when her father introduced her to fantasy books as a teenager. Her love of women’s fiction began when she first read Jane Austen for the HSC, but it wasn't until she was taking a translation course at university that her Mandarin lecturer suggested she might have a knack for writing – a seed of an idea that sat quietly in the back of her mind while she lived overseas and travelled the world. Sandie first decided to put pen to paper (yes, she writes the old-fashioned way when she can before hitting a keyboard) when living in London. She is the author of six heart-wrenching and uplifting stories of love, loss, family and small country towns, with her latest novel, The Lyrebird Lake Ladies Choir published in June 2024. Living in Sydney with her husband and daughter, she writes every day, and is the founder and director of the Northern Beaches Readers Festival.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Nina D. Campbell studied theatre and literature and has worked in a variety of jobs, including zoo keeper, researcher and trainer, before finally settling as a professional writer in the community and public sectors. Working primarily in education and industry policy, Nina wrote speeches, briefing documents and presentations before a midlife health challenge changed her priorities. Having faced the finite nature of life, she embraced her love of words and story and turned her hand to novels. Nina now writes fiction full-time with a focus on gritty crime thrillers that explore the moral and ethical complexity of modern life. Together with her partner and their spirited Jack Russell Terrier, she lives in Adelaide's south, close to world-class wine regions, sparkling beaches and other delights that too often tempt her away from the computer. Daughters of Eve was shortlisted for The Danger Prize and longlisted for The Davitt Awards. Nina can be contacted through Facebook or Instagram.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Before turning to a life of crime writing, Heidi Catherine built a successful career as the author of over thirty fantasy and dystopian novels. While she quite enjoys killing her characters (especially the awful ones), she promises she’s far better behaved in real life. Heidi holds a degree in marketing and taught public relations for one of Australia’s top online universities. Her works of fiction have been shortlisted for numerous writing awards. A highlight was winning first place in Romance Writers of Australia’s Emerald Pro Award for best unpublished manuscript. She was also highly commended in The Hope Prize, resulting in publication in an anthology by Simon & Schuster. With a current focus on writing domestic suspense novels, Heidi is fascinated by human interactions and relationships, using ‘research’ as her excuse for watching far too much reality TV. Heidi’s crime writing accolades including winning second place in The Scarlet Stiletto Awards and being highly commended in The Louie Award. Heidi lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband and two sons, with the running of her house overseen by a feisty rescue chihuahua.</image:caption>

<image:title>Bronwyn Eley - Bronwyn Eley</image:title>
<image:caption>Bronwyn Eley has been doing two things since childhood: writing and fighting. She looks for opportunities to incorporate her martial arts experience into her stories, and writing fantasy gives her the perfect chance to test out what actually works! Before being published, Bronwyn was in the Royal Australian Air Force, studied Linguistics at university, and now works in marketing, content and social media across various industries, including the book and publishing industry which is where she got the insane notion of becoming a published author. Her first series, The Relic Trilogy, came out between 2019-21, and her latest novel, The Rule (Pantera Press) was published in early 2025, and the second in this duology, The Oath (Pantera Press) will be released in June 2026. Originally from Sydney, Bronwyn now lives in Edinburgh and confirms she does like haggis. While she misses Australia, living in Scotland allows her access to a wider part of the world. Travel continues to inspire her writing, and some of her favourite places so far have been Mongolia, Morocco, Matera in Italy (look it up), Iceland and the Scottish Highlands. When she’s not writing, reading or out travelling and snapping photos, she’s usually found practicing her martial arts – which she started at the tender age of eight thanks to Sandra Bullock’s iconic role as Gracie Lou Freebush (IYKYK).</image:caption>
